OTHER PETS

KING

King is our oldest dog. He has become a little grey over the years, even though he is still a fairly young dog. He is a four year old German Shepherd, and he loves living in the countryside. He has never attacked our livestock, even though we have chickens and hens running free.

Ok I said something wrong. The rabbits has to be in a cage, for him to not eat them. He likes looking at them though, and has never tried to get into the cage.

THE RABBITS

We have 3 rabbits in our stock. One sandy-coloured, one brown and one white. They don't really have any names yet, but they will get that when my sister's kid visits soon. She likes naming everything even though she is only 3 herself. So they might get names like Rabby, Bunny and what not.

JACKY

Jacky is a youngster. She is a 1 year old German Shepherd, and is not related to King. But she is sterilized as we don't want any puppies in near future. Our focus is on the horses, not the dogs even if we love King and Jacky to pieces.

She hasn't yet learned that she can't hunt the chickens, but King is a good dog and tells her with his barks that she shouldn't do that. She likes the horses a lot, in her eyes they are just big, hay-eating dogs.

HENS AND CHICKENS

We have quite a few hens and chickens at our stable. Mostly we have the hens for the eggs, but sometimes we end up with a bunch of chickens anyway. That's fun too I guess?

OTHERS

Other than the already mentioned animals we also have four cows and a bull calf. Our neighbor has sheep and we are thinking about getting some of those in a near future.
