Even though Brúnstjarni and Apall looks similar on the outside, they're insides are very different. Apall is not as gentle as Stjarni, not at all. He has quite a temper, and can be hard to handle - both as a rider and from the ground.

But somehow he is very friendly towards children, and they can handle him without any problems. It's adults who shall beware of his temper.
