Twins, but not so happy

Today our mare ES Rodheatte gave birth to a pair of twin foals. That's normally a happy thing, but also a very hard thing. Mostly because normally one foal is big and strong, and the other small and scrawny. That is the case here too. The first foal out was this little lady (who has no name yet), and then a little colt - a very little colt. We don't know if he will survive, so no pictures of him yet. We don't want to get our and your hopes up, as he is so, so very small.

But maybe we can be happy about this girl. We have taken her from her mother to another broodmare, so Red, her mother, can use all her energy on the smaller foal. And maybe he will be strong enough soon, to be shown. We are just glad that this girl survived and fingers are crossed for the colt. Please lit a light for him and pray with us <3
